Draft voter list by Dec. 3

MACHILIPATNAM: The revision of photo electoral list will be completed in the district by November 25, Collector N. Sridhar has said.

The Collector held a meeting about the comprehensive revision of photo electoral list with representatives of different political parties at a meeting here on Wednesday. The draft photo electoral lists would be publicised on December 3 and these would be read in the respective gram sabhas till December 17.

The Collector said the general practice of voters checking on the polling day for their names in the list would serve no purpose, as it would be too late by then if the name does not figure.
