Krishna Collector cautions officials

Makes a surprise visit to the offices of the Tahsildar and MPDO

KRUTTIVENNU (Krishna dist.): Krishna district Collector N. Sridhar on Thursday cautioned the officials that he would not tolerate negligence and take stringent action against those who failed to discharge their duties.

He asked the local Tahsildar Narayana Reddy to take necessary steps to complete the construction of houses for the poor by the end of this month.

Mr. Sridhar paid a surprise visit to the offices of the Tahsildar and Mandal Parishad Development Officer here and found that the Tahsildar had failed to be present in the office in time.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the indiscipline, he asked the officials to work hard and not let anyone to point a finger at them.

He later visited the MPDO’s office and found that the officer too was not present by then.

Inspecting the houses that were sanctioned under Indiramma programme and noticing that they were under construction, Mr. Sridhar said there should not be any delay in the completion of the houses.
