This Day That Age
The United States Under-Secretary for Economic Affairs, Mr. C. Douglas Dillon, on November 12 held out the prospect of more assistance for Colombo Plan countries. Mr. Dillon said it was planned to ask Congress to provide the Development Loan Fund with additional resources. He added that the Fund would be the chief instrument through which the U.S. would be able to supplement the resources of established national and international lending institutions.
