Guru Nanak Jayanthi

Concluding the three-day festivities of 539 birthday celebrations of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru, a Vishal Deewan was conducted by Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha and Prabhandak Committees on Thursday.

According to a press release, over 25,000 Sikh devotees offered their prayers to Guru Granth Sahibji at NTR Stadium near Indira Park. The congregation began at 11 a.m. and continued up to 4.30 p.m.
