Special trains announced to Madurai, Coimbatore

CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced operation of special trains between Chennai - Madurai and Chennai - Coimbatore.

An official release stated that the Chennai – Madurai train (No. 0631) would leave Chennai Egmore at 11.45 p.m. on Saturday and reach Madurai the next day at 9.30 a.m. In the return direction, the special from Madurai to Chennai (0632) would leave Madurai at 11.55 p.m. on Sunday and reach Chennai the next day at 10.15 a.m.

The Chennai Central - Coimbatore special (0601) would leave Chennai Central at 10.20 p.m. on Friday and reach Coimbatore at 7 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, the special from Coimbatore (0602) would leave Coimbatore at 11.45 p.m. on Sunday and will reach Chennai Central at 8.30 a.m. the next day.

Reservation would commence on Friday.
