Stress management training for officials

Stress on health: K. Vanaraj, Senior Education Officer, Central Board of Workers Education addressing officers at the stress management training programme held in Krishnagiri on Friday.

KRISHNAGIRI: Stress management training for officers of the rank of Deputy Collectors, Tahsildhars and Deputy Tahsildhars was held here on Friday.

Stress at work has become the order of the day and it affects productivity, said K. Vanaraj, Senior Education Officer from the Central Board of Workers Education from Coimbatore Regional Office.Mr. Vanaraj spoke at length and quoted many humourous incidents to ease work related stress.

In the training programme, he interacted with officials and listened to their problems. He tried to help the officials to conquer stress.

This training was conducted as part of the Central Government’s Workers’ Education Scheme to be implemented in all the districts in a phased manner.About 50 district level officers participated in the training programme.
