“A total of 14 Ministers could be inducted” CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda on Friday said that whenever he expands his Cabinet, a member of the Brahmin community would be inducted as a Minister. Addressing a function organised by Saraswat Brahmin Sabha on its Foundation Day in Karnal, Mr. Hooda said due representation had been given to the community in the appointment of Chairmen of various Boards and Corporations. He added that a total of 14 Ministers could be inducted into the Cabinet and after the resignation of Ambala MLA Venod Sharma, one ministerial post had fallen vacant. “The Congress is the only party in the country which has given due regard and representation to the Brahmin community.” Presiding over the function, former Union Minister and Ambala MLA Venod Sharma said the interests of the Brahmin community were safe in the hands of the Chief Minister.
