This Day That Age
An emerald colour locomotive hauling a train with fifty children and blowing a shrill whistle chugged along a half mile circular track when Prime Minister Nehru opened the Bal Bhawan Railway in New Delhi on November 14, Mr Nehru’s birthday and Children’s Day. Sitting in the locomotive with the children filling up the carriages, he had a half a mile ride. Mr. Nehru said that it was the birthright of children to have all the love and regard one could give them. They should have education and equal opportunities in life with others.
