Three arrested for burglary

NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested by the Delhi police in connection with a burglary at a temple in Model Town here this past month.

According to the police, fingerprints lifted from the spot led to the arrest of Mahinder Singh who was previously involved in a burglary at Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara.

One of his alleged accomplices, Kulwant, was arrested later at his instance. A jeweller, Manish, was arrested in Uttarakhand for allegedly receiving the stolen jewellery.

“More than 20 kg of silver and about 200 gm of gold ornaments have been seized,” the police said.
