Refugees observe fast in camps

VELLORE: Sri Lankan Tamil refugees staying in six refugee camps in Vellore district observed a fast on Friday. They condemned the killing of the Tamils in Sri Lanka and urged the island nation to immediately stop the war in the country. The refugees observed fast in the camps at Abdullapuram (Vellore), Palar Anaicut (Walajapet), Banavaram, Gudiyatham, Minnur and Chinnappallikuppam.
