’Don’t deny education to children’

BANGALORE: “Education was the most important aspect of any human being. Let our children not be deprived of it,” Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said. He was attending a function to felicitate the leaders of Vishwakarma community here on Saturday. He said religious institutions were crucial in reaching education to the masses as they could be facilitators for many government programmes. Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Aravind Limbavali, Transport Minister R. Ashok and several swamijis were present. Several achievers in the Vishwakarma community were felicitated on this occasion. — Special Correspondent
