International art awards for three students

HYDERABAD: Three children from the State made the country proud by bagging prestigious international art awards.

Over 11,350 children from 39 countries representing 251 Child Art Clubs participated at the 16 International Biennale of Children and Youth Art Exhibition. The event was organised at Childrens’ Creative Art Centre in Torun, Poland and was supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland.

A. Shreetej (7) won the main award at the 16 , while K.Srikanth Naik (12) and S.Hari Ratan (14) won the Honorary Awards.

A set of ten children also received Diplomas for their art works. A seven member Jury consisting of eminent artists and art educators selected the works for display and awards.

All these children are students at Sanskriti, a rural art centre established by ‘Young Envoys International’.
