Long-awaited: Adilabad MP A. Indrakaran Reddy, MLA C. Ramchander Reddy and Collector Ahmad Nadeem at the launch of the first extended run of Krishna Express on Saturday night. ADILABAD: The Krishna Express to Tirupati was flagged off on its extended run from here by Adilabad MP A. Indrakaran Reddy amid cheers from local people and businessmen on Saturday night. The start of this train was eagerly awaited by local people, which is evident from the fact that all the available seats were reserved on the first run itself. South Central Railway (SCR) officials had decorated the train and platform with flowers and serial bulbs that took a festive look as a large crowd of local people had gathered to witness the occasion. Adilabad MLA C. Ramchander Reddy, Municipal chairman Digambar Rao Patil, Collector Ahmad Nadeem, SCR Nanded DRM P.C. Gajbhiye, Additional DRM Ramaraksha, Senior Divisional Safety Officer K. Prajapati Rao, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Ratnakar Rao were present among others.
