Guntur triumphs

VIJAYAWADA: Guntur and Krishna won the overall championships in the boys and girls segments respectively of the inter-district track race cycling championship that concluded at M.B.P. Stadium here on Sunday.

Boys: U-13: 1. K. Gyany (Vza), 2. Sriram (Knl), 3 Sravan Nagendra Babu (Kri).

Oriental HS wins

Oriental High School (Pedamuthaivi) defeated Zilla Parishad High School (Kanuru) 25-13, 25-20 in the under-17 volleyball final of the Krishna District inter-divisional girls’ sports and games meet here on Sunday.

The results: (all finals) U-17: Kabaddi: APSWRS HS (Musunuru) bt St. Anthony RCM HS 49-8.

Kho kho: ZPHS (Nunna) bt ZPHS (Penamaluru) 7-2.
