A.P. MPs to meet Pranab over attacks on students in U.S.

M. Rajeev

HYDERABAD: The attack on the Pulluri Sashanka, from Warangal district, studying in the United States has raised disturbing questions about the safety of students from Andhra Pradesh there.

Coming a fortnight after the killing of city girl Arpana Jinaga, , this is the sixth in the string of attacks on migrant youth from the State in less than a year. Mr. Sashanka had a providential escape from death and was declared out of danger. Congress MP V. Hanumanth Rao is leading a delegation of the State MPs to External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and his deputy Anand Sharma on November 19.
