I-T payment at banks

The Income-Tax Department has made arrangements for accepting cheques and challans towards payment of income-tax with State Bank of India and its associates. People can also pay their income tax at all public sector banks and other banks, including HDFC Bank Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd, IDBI Bank Ltd and Axis Bank Ltd, stated a press release.
