Hyderabad: The Telugu Association of North America’s (TANA) biennial “Chaitanya Sravanthi” celebrations this year will be conducted from December 20 to 27 at Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali and Hyderabad.
Expressing happiness over Classical Language status being granted to Telugu language, TANA Vice-president, Rateesh Adusumalli told a press conference here on Sunday said celebrations this year would be organised on a grand note across the State.
The festivities would start with two-day cultural programmes and State-level volley ball competitions at C.R.R. College in Eluru from December 20. Medical camps would be conducted at N.R.I Medical Hospital in Tenali on December 22, seminars and lectures would be held at Seshasai Kalyana Mandapam in Vijayawada on December 24.
The concluding ceremony will be held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Hyderabad on December 27. Experts from different fields, including education, health, culture and sports would be felicitated in recognition of their service, during the celebrations, he added.
