Burglars decamp with jewellery

Tirupur: Some unidentified persons burgled the house of Paneerselvam, an employee of Udumalpet municipality, at Seetha Nagar in Dharapuram in the early hours of Monday and decamped with jewellery.

The police said the incident occurred when Paneerselvam and his family were away for a vacation.

The burglars broke open the locked cupboard and took away the valuables. - Staff Reporter
