BANGALORE: Vedanth M Urs outclassed J. Ashutosh 11-1, 11-5, 11-4 to win the cadet boys title of the State table tennis championship at the Malleswaram Association premises here.

The results:

Cadet boys: Final: Vedanth M Urs bt J. Ashutosh 11-1, 11-5, 11-4. Semifinals: Vedanth bt Keshavaraj 11-4, 11-8, 11-9; Ashutosh bt K.B. Rakshit 11-9, 11-4, 12-10.

Cadet girls: Final: Ridhi Rohit bt Shivani Pooviah 12-10, 11-7, 12-10. Semifinals: Shivani Pooviah bt Aishwarya 3-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9; Ridhi Rohot bt Vineetha 11-8, 11-2, 11-4.
