Lucknow: An FIR has been lodged against 31 policemen at Mahanagar police station here for allegedly not reporting to duty. “The FIR has been lodged against these policemen under the Police Act as they had not reported to their duties,” Additional Director General (Law and Order) Brijlal told reporters here on Thursday. He said that strict disciplinary action would be initiated against these policemen on charges of dereliction of duty. Among the 31 policemen, 25 were suspended and six had taken leave.
