Kozhikode: Two persons travelling in a tourist bus carrying pilgrims from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh to Sabarimala were killed in a road accident near Adivaram in the Thamarassery police station limits at 5 a.m. on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Sreenivasan, cleaner of the bus, and Poornachandra, a cook employed by the pilgrims. The bodies have been kept at the Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode. A mini-lorry from Karnataka hit the victims who were changing the punctured tyres of their vehicle, the police said.
