Some are above the law!

Traffic cops and RTA authorities have been quite vocal and pro-active these days, whether it’s cracking down on rules violators or illegal activities. Never an opportunity is missed to lecture the common man about the law and regulations but somehow the same enthusiasm seems to be missing when it comes to people with high connections or bigwigs themselves.
For instance, former Home Minister T. Devender Goud merrily moves around with a number plate that is outright against the law even if his intention was to score a political point. That he has been continuing the charade for several days without any hassle begs the question if there is any rule that allows such deviations for the VIPs.
