Tipplers beware

Tipplers are on the edge these days with traffic policemen launching a crackdown against them during nights. Till the not-so-recent past, the khakiwallahs would be out in strength and intercept road users only on weekends but now it is more often. Armed with latest breath analysers, traffic police are leaving no stone unturned in catching tipplers on the arterial routes. While cases are booked if drivers are found inebriated, vehicle is let-off if you have a companion who is “clean and dry” but if both are ‘drunk’, the vehicle is seized and ‘towing’ charges too is levied.
