‘Run for fun’

A ‘run for fun’ for a stretch of 3 km and a tug-of-war by NCC cadets attracted a large number of onlookers on the beach road on Thursday. As part of the national integration camp being conducted by Air Squadron of the Visakhapatnam Group of NCC, cadets from Uttarakhand, Kerala, Punjab, TN, UP, Karnataka and host Andhra Pradesh took part in programmes coinciding with NCC Day celebrations.

“We will remember the victory on the beach for ever,” said Jagat Singh from Punjab after winning the tug of war.The camp is scheduled to end on November 26. Deputy Commandant of NCC Y. Prakasa Rao said many were thrilled to see the sea.
