Surrendered naxals pour out their woes

Chittoor: District Collector M. Ravichandra and Superintendent Police K. Lakshmireddy convened a meeting of surrendered naxalites here on Friday. They instructed the officials to speed up the rehabilitation process. As many as 23 surrendered naxalites participated in the meeting. They complained that lower rung officials were not treating them properly and requested the authorities to sanction irrigation lands instead of vehicles, house sites and pensions. -Correspondent
