Book those who tried to derail probe: BJP

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president P.K. Krishnadas has sought an inquiry into the possible role of people who tried to derail the investigation in the Abhaya case.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Mr. Krishnadas said there had been deliberate attempts to undermine the investigation at different stages. A credible enquiry should be instituted to find out who were behind the operation, he added.

Mr. Krishnadas welcomed the Cabinet’s decision to seek a probe into the ‘larger conspiracy’ behind the Marad massacre.
