This Day That Age
(From an editorial) The President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on November 21 urged the Indian people to adopt in their national life the ideals of patriotism, national unity, goodwill towards all and high aesthetic sense, embodied in Poet Kalidasa’s works. The President, who was inaugurating the Kalidasa Jayanti celebrations in Ujjain, said that all over the world Kalidasa was counted among the biggest literary giants of all ages. That universal recognition imposed on the people of India a responsibility to do full honour to the life and literary contribution of this great poet.
