Wheat allotment

CHENNAI: The government has allocated 11,283 metric tonnes of wheat for distribution through the PDS between November and December, this year. Of this 1,900 metric tonnes have been set aside for Chennai.

Ration cardholders in North and South Chennai can avail themselves of up to 10 kg of wheat, including refined wheat flour, according to a release. Any complaints may be addressed to the Assistant Commissioners of North (Ph: 28551028) and South (28551026) or via the website: www.consumer.tn.gov.in
