Niranjan Mardi new Secretary for Municipal Administration

CHENNAI: In a shuffle of IAS officers on Friday, the Government appointed new secretaries for the departments of Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MAWS) and Revenue Development.

Niranjan Mardi, Commission of Municipal Administration, is posted as Secretary, MAWS department in place of K.Deenabandu, who has been moved to the post of Principal Secretary, Revenue Department.

Ambuj Sharma, who was the Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, has now been transferred as the Chairman and Managing Director, Overseas Manpower Corporation. P.Senthil Kumar, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Administration, has been posted as Director of Municipal Administration in a newly created post.

Dev Raj Dev, Joint Secretary, School Education, has posted to act as Director, Land Reforms. He will also hold the post of Director, Urban Land Ceiling and Urban Land Tax.
