Youth nabbed

Police arrested a 19-year-old youth of Ayanavaram on Saturday on charges of making an anonymous call stating that a bomb had been planted in a cinema hall in Perambur.

According to police, Alexander, son of a head constable, went to the theatre on Thursday to see a film. When all attempts to procure a ticket failed, he had allegedly called up `108’ using his cellphone and said that the bomb would be planted in the theatre on Tuesday November 25. Police then tracked the call to his number and later arrested him.
