Boy drowned

CHENNAI: A 12-year-old boy of Poonamallee was drowned in the Chembarambakkam Lake where he went for a swim with his friends on Saturday. Police said K.Yuvaraj, a student of standard VII got stuck in the mud in the lake. When his friends went to help him, the boy told them not to venture into the water.
