Power supply in Spencer Plaza improves

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The power supply situation in Spencer Plaza, one of the major shopping malls in the city, has improved recently.

With the State government’s approval to purchase power from private plants, Plaza Maintenance & Services, with the support of all occupants, has overcome the power crisis for now. Spencer Plaza would have additional power load to ease the shortfall during the power restrictions. Customers could expect a better shopping experience now, said Prakash Thakurdas, a member of the association of shop owners at Spencer Plaza. The association members also thanked the State government and Tamil Nadu Electricity Board officials for extending their support to resolve the issue.
