This Day That Age
Ghana and Guinea declared in Accra on November 23 their agreement to “constitute our two States as the nucleus of a Union of West African States. " The declaration said Ghana and Guinea had agreed as the first step to adopt a union flag, develop the closest contacts and harmonise defence, foreign and economic policies. The next step would be the formulation of a constitution.
