State-level women writers’ meet in Thrissur

Thrissur: A state-level get-together of women writers will begin at Kerala Sahithya Akademi Auditorium on Tuesday. The two-day meet organised by Kerala Sahithya Akademi and State Women’s Commission will be inaugurated by the Chairperson of Kerala Women’s Commission Justice D. Sreedevi. Inspector General of Police Alexander Jacob, Sathyapal, Ashokan Charuvail, Lida Jacob, Parvathy Pavanan, P. Balachandran, K.P. Sudheera, Purushan Kadalundi and P.K. Sainaba will speak on the occasion. Writer Sara Joseph will deliver a lecture on ‘Sthree ezhuthumbol’. K.P. Ramanunni, Priya A.S., K. Rekha and K.A. Beena will take part in the discussion on the subject.

Writer Graci will be the moderator. On second day, T.N. Seema, S. Saradhakutty and Meenakshi Thamban will deliver lectures on various subjects.

P. Valsala will inaugurate the valedictory function. T. Devi will preside over.
