TDP’s maha dharna today

VIZIANAGARAM: Following the proposed ‘maha dharna’ of the TDP at Collectorate Junction on the NH-43 on Tuesday, the police have geared up to regulate and divert traffic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vehicular traffic bound for Vizianagaram from Salur, Parvathipuram and Bobbili will be diverted at Ramabhadrapuram to reach the district headquarters town via Garbham, Garividi and Nellimarla. On route from Vizianagaram towards Bobbili, the vehicles would go via Gajularega and Andhra University campus and towards S.Kota via Dharmavaram and Thatipudi the vehicles will be diverted via Jami.
All two-wheelers, autos and cars would be diverted via Ayyannapeta towards Gantyada, according to K. Koteswara Rao. Meanwhile, the TDP is making elaborate arrangements for the dharna in which the party president N. Chandrababu Naidu would participate.
The dharna was planned to inform people that prices of essentials soared high due to rampant corruption of the Congress.
