Shastri hockey from Nov. 27
NEW DELHI: Nine top teams of the country will take part in the 19th all-India Lal Bahadur Shastri hockey tournament to be held at the Nehru Stadium, Gurgaon, from November 27 to December 3.
Air India, BPCL, ONGC, CRPF, Namdhari XI, South Central Railway (SCR), Indian Bank and Indian Oil have confirmed their participation.
Indian Bank and SCR will lock horns in a knock-out match and the winner will join the other seven teams for the main league.
The eight sides will be divided into two pools for league matches. The top two from both pools will reach the semifinals to be played on December 2 with the final on the next day.
