Praja Rajyam questions Left’s ‘integrity’
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: Piqued by the action of the Left parties in deciding to sail with the Telugu Desam Party, the Praja Rajyam has gone into overdrive, hitting back at the history of the Left parties’ political performance the past decade and a half.
Praja Rajyam spokesman P. Mitra said on Tuesday his party did not see any reason why they should still discuss the possibility of alliances with the Left after they had cleared the air on the issue.
He hurled a volley of questions ranging from how they had tied up with a party whose leader had ordered a firing on poor people protesting the rise in power charges, killing three persons and even going onto deny medical treatment to the injured.
