HYDERABAD: The much discussed global economic crisis does not seem to have had an impact on the affluent sections that badly, as reflected in the fact that quite a few ultra-modern housing apartment flats costing Rs. 2.27 crore each have been sold already. The flats are being constructed by the Mumbai-based Lodha Group and are offered for sale by invitation only. The project ‘Lodha Bellezza’ at Eden Square is close to Malaysian Township here. Of the 60 units put up for sale and 180 prospective customers invited for the first phase so far, 27 have already been booked. ThemeSpeaking to presspersons on Tuesday, the group senior vice-president (marketing), R. Karthik said the project was coming up on 12.90 acre site and themed on Californian style living, it will be amongst the tallest in the State rising to 45 floors. For the first time here, it will also bring the concept of Sky Villas and each villa will occupy an entire floor that is completely autonomous and replete with a private pool, sun deck, home theatre lounge and a private office. To be developed in two phases, each unit will be spread over 4,761 sft and coming up as four towers, it will have a helipad apart from personal elevators. A host of other features including motion sensors, electronic surveillance, wi-fi enabled business centre and emergency medical desk will be part of it. Conceding that there was a slowdown on the property front, Mr. Karthik said, “we are receiving good response and believe that there still is adequate demand for the right product”.
