Mulberry cultivation reviewed

COIMBATORE: Commissioner of Sericulture Harmandar Singh urged mulberry farmers here to sell the cocoons through the Government market in Coimbatore. A release from the department said the commissioner reviewed the sericulture activities here, including the reeling units, cocoon market and the technical centres. The mulberry area in the district had gone up by 223.50 acres this year.
