Staff Reporter
Balladeer not to align with political parties striving for votes in the name of separate State
SANGAREDDY: Balladeer Gadar on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was the main hurdle in the creation of separate Telangana. Speaking to reporters at Medak, Mr. Gadar, who came here to inaugurate two-day programmes of Telangana Samskritika Samakhya, said that he would not align with political parties striving for votes in the name of a separate State.
Advocate of agitation
“Formation of a separate State is possible only through agitation mode and hence it should be intensified,” he said defending his meeting with leaders of various political parties including that of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Mr. Gadar also recalled his efforts to bring naxalites to discussion table.
Later, he submitted a memorandum to Revenue Divisional Officer Nageswara Rao requesting sanction of pensions and house sites to artisans. Samkhya president E. Nageswara Rao was also present.
