‘YSR capable of bulldozing Sonia decision’

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader T. Harish Rao has alleged that Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy is capable of bulldozing the decision of AICC president Sonia Gandhi on Telangana statehood.

At a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Harish Rao said the manner in which the Chief Minister was making statements on the statehood raising new issues, it would not be a surprise if he bulldozed the party chief’s decision on Telangana. Questioning the Congress party’s commitment on statehood, he dared the high command to spell out its stand and see the reaction of the people. He lashed out at Dr. Reddy for his observation that the fate of Bhadrachalam and Rayalaseema had to be decided before a separate State was considered.
