Newly-married woman hangs herself
NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old newly-married woman allegedly hanged herself in her house at Sabzi Mandi here on Tuesday. The police have arrested her husband on the charge of harassing her for dowry. Kiran, who married Vikas on November 10, was found hanging from the ceiling on Tuesday afternoon. Her parents alleged that she was being harassed for dowry. Based on their complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Vikas. According to the complaint, Vikas’ two brothers and mother had also been harassing Kiran. The couple had returned from honeymoon.
