CPI (M) stages dharna

SANGAREDDY: Demanding that second gas agencies should be sanctioned at Sangareddy and Patancheru towns, scores of women led by CPI (M) leaders B. Mallesham, M.V. Prasad and B. Nageswara Rao on Thursday held dharna before the Civil Supplies Commissioner office at Hyderabad.

According to a release here by Mallesham and Nageswara Rao, they were forced to bring the issue to the notice of Commissioner as the officials at district level failed to address it.“Since two years people are suffering with the problem and it was never addressed to properly by officials. They were forced to run from pillar to post to solve the problem. As the gas is not being delivered at door step, consumers are forced to stand at gas agency for hours together,” said CPI (M) district secretary Chukka Ramulu.

They latter submitted a memorandum to Commissioner Sanjay Jaju. They claimed that the commissioner assured to solve the problem by supplying required gas and to conduct a survey for the establishment of second gas agency.
