Jawan injured in Pakistan firing

Jammu: Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian positions along the Indo-Pak border violating ceasefire in which an jawan was injured here in Jammu and Kashmir, a senior army officer said.

Pakistani troops from opposite post fired with small arms weapons on Khour Border Out Post (BOP) along the Line of Control (LoC) of Jammu district late Wednesday night, he said .

In the brief firing, one havaldar Pratap Singh of 9 Raj Rifles, who was patrolling LoC at that time, was critically injured and airlifted to Military hospital in Udhampur . — PTI
