Functions cancelled: All official functions of the university scheduled to be held till December 4 have been postponed in view of the seven-day mourning declared by the State government to condole the death of former Prime Minister V.P. Singh.

Results published: The results of third year MBBS Part II examinations held at Government Medical College, Calicut and Government Medical College, Thrissur have been published. The last date for submitting applications for revaluation\scrutiny is December 15.

B.Tech. exams: The combined first and second semester B.Tech. (old scheme) examinations of the university will begin from December 16.

BDS exams: The final year BDS Part I examinations of the university will begin on December 17 and the third year BDS examinations will begin from December 18.

Interview: A walk-in-interview will be held at the office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor on December 10 to prepare a panel of guest lecturers for the Mathematics department of the university. Basic eligibility is a postgraduate degree in Mathematics with 55 per cent marks and NET qualification. Those interested should appear with original certificates showing proof of caste, age, experience and education qualifications at the administrative section of the university at 9.30 a.m. on December 10.
