13 people killed in road mishaps

Jaipur: Thirteen people were killed and 13 others injured in three separate road accidents in Rajasthan on Sunday, police sources said.

Eight persons, including two boys, were killed and 13 others injured when a private bus in which they were travelling was hit by a trolley from behind at Dilwara Chouraha under Nasirabad police station in Ajmer district on Saturday night, sources said.

In another accident four persons including a woman were killed on the spot when their Tata Sumo collided head-on with a truck at Kanvi village under Gangasar police station in Bikaner district on Sunday. The police has seized the truck and launched hunt for the driver who fled from the scene after the mishap. A motorcyclist was killed when he was hit by a truck at Ghat-ki-Ghuni in the outskirts of the city on Sunday, police said. --PTI
