Violence victims mourned

KORAPUT: A condolence meeting was held on the premises of Sishu Bhavan here on Sunday to pay tributes to departed souls and to pay gratitude to the brave commandos and people in uniform who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

While Bhavani Sankar Mishra and Laxmi Prasad Rath , two former Air Force personnel, gave a brief account on the value of the commandos in the defence mechanism of the country, Gupta Prasad Das, former MLA, highlighted the importance of keeping unity among all religions. Sanyasi Pujari, District Tourist Officer, also spoke.
