Kabaddi tourney gets under way

VIZIANAGARAM: The 54th State-level inter-district under-19 Kabaddi Championship began at the newly-built Rajiv Sports Complex here on Sunday.

Minister for Housing Botcha Satyanarayana inaugurated the game in which boys and girls from all the 23 districts in the State are participating.

After witnessing the colourful march past by the participating teams, the Minister, in his address, assured the Dronacharya recipient and national kabaddi coach E. Prasada Rao of making effort for a stadium of international standard for conducting kabaddi championship in the Fort town.
