HYDERABAD: Surender Raut of ONGC won the Hyderabad 10K half-marathon organised by Hyderabad 10K Foundation here on Sunday, clocking 1 hour, 3 minutes, 45 sec. Sandeep Kumar of Uttar Pradesh and Bining Lyng Khoi of Army Sports Institute (Pune) finished second and third respectively. The results: Half-Marathon: Men: 1. Surender Raut (ONGC), 2. Sandeep Kumar (UP), 3. Bining Lyng Khoi (ASI, Pune). Women: 1. Kavitha Prasad (ONGC), 2. Preethi L. Rao (Jharkhand), 3. Vaishali Chatare (Central Railway, Nagpur). Veterans (50 years & above): 1. Sashank netted a brace and Ravi scored of a solo effort for the winner. In the schools’ final, St. Andrews High School put it across Government Boys High School (Trimulgherry) 2-0 with left-out Manoj and captain Sankreeth striking once each.
