KOCHI: Hadhrath Mirza Masroor Ahmad, head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community, has said that for survival of nations, it is important to respect the feelings of others. He stressed the need for brotherhood, righteousness, peace, love and harmony in international relationships. He was addressing the ‘assembly of love and understanding’, a meeting convened by the community here on Sunday. ‘Jihad’ must be for reforming oneself and not to be fought by sword. Pointing out that innocent civilians get affected in war, he called for taking care to protect the rights of others. Sebastian Paul, MP, M.K.Sanu, and others addressed the gathering.
